How many people does it take to pray? If you said one, then you're wrong. If only one person is involved in prayer then in fact you are just talking to yourself. Prayer is a dialog with God, therefore, there are two people involved. Our God is not some inanimate force, that we seek to tap into some mystical power. Rather, the Bible tells us that God is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, so He is a personal being.
So when you pray realize, there is someone else listening. Then stop and listen yourself, for God is speaking as well.
