Easter Countdown - Day 20

When life is tough we must wait on the Lord. Now waiting doesn't mean sitting passively by and hoping God will do what we want Him to do. Rather waiting is a verb and means we are to serve God. When you go to a restaurant, you expect your waiter to "wait" on you and get your food. So in the same, to wait on the Lord is to serve the Lord, doing the things we know He wants us to do, like pray, witness, fellowship, and Bible study. These are things we can do in waiting on the Lord to address our particular concern. When we wait on the Lord He renews our strength. (Is. 40:30)
