When the going gets tough, the tough get ... on their knees and pray. How do we persevere when life is tough, and let's face it, life is very tough sometimes. Sometimes life is difficult because we've made poor choices in life, and we are reaping the natural consequences. Other times, life's trials come because of the malicious intent of others. Finally, there are times when there seems to be no logical explanation for our dilemma as when a storm hits our house, but not our neighbors?
Yes, life is tough sometimes, but let us look to the example of Jesus "who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising its shame. . ." Hebrews 12:1-2 So the next time life is tough, look to Jesus and be encouraged.
