How many times a day do you say, "Oops"? If you've ever walked out to your car and have forgotten your key, you're likely to say, "Oops, I forgot my keys." While there are a myriad of reason why we might say "Oops," it normally boils down to the fact that we've made some type of mistake or we've had an accident. When we say this word we are admitting we've done something wrong, and by saying it, we're hoping it will minimize the damage. To me, this is just another vivid reminder of our fraility as human beings, because none of us are perfect.
However, there is One who is perfect and He has never had to say "oops." Of course I talking about God, and He has never made a mistake or had an accident. When you stop to think about this truth, I hope you realize your presence this earth is not an accident. You are not some afterthought of God, but a very precious treasure in His sight. Therefore, God has placed you on earth at this time, in order to fulfill His purposes and not yours. The sooner you surrender to His will, the sooner you will know the true meaning of life.
"For You created my inmost being; You knit me together in my mother's womb." Psalm 139:13
